I can relate to every thing you have said here. I got so frustrated with the deception that I was sending scathing emails to these people for trying to dupe unsuspecting folks into paying for things that they could get for free and for being sent to places where they thought it was free. I subscribe to ancestry.com but that's because I choose to. I don't like being sent there if I didn't make the choice to go there. It's my choice and I don't like trickery. It's the people that simply don't understand how the internet works that get tricked into this stuff and that's what really upsets me! Taking advantage of people that just don't know any better or are newbies or naive is wrong on so many levels. Yet the scams and the tricks continue. I never use the "title" for these when adding them to my blog, but now I think I'll use it to indicate whether it's a free site or not. The whole purpose of my blog is to inspire people to find their family stories, and I think this would be helpful for them. For some reason I had already signed up to click bank...so it was real easy to get my money back...Thanks Mr.Robert Sir.
